EMBODY

Building others up through community & education

MY WHY

The mission is very simple.
I want to help you understand everyone has a story worth hearing, including you..

After years of attempting to fit into different boxes, I'm finally accepting the shape of my own. My fundamental desire is to create spaces of encouragement for people to feel safe in. Creative storytelling is my way of learning about myself, but also helping others break through their own barriers.

Thanks for being here.
I'm Shelby!

Truth is, you will never be able to get time back.

However, there is still time for all of us. Those past seasons served their purpose and the positive impact of those times can never be erased. Maybe it is just time for you to shine your light in new places. Time to step up to new challenges. Time to align to the areas, connections, and commitments that fit who you are today. One of the largest disservices you can do to yourself is suffocating who you are today to maintain a figment of who you used to be. Time flies by so fast and as the years seem to disappear, the more I'm realizing what actually counts. I hope my creative work is a reflection and reminder that:

We can build the life we aspire to have, without sacrificing living the only one we've got.

At the end of the day...

I'm still the doe-eyed 6-year-old imagining the possibilities of all she could see and experience in life. A mellow soul with a big smile and a heart to match. After years of attempting to fit into different boxes, I'm finally accepting the shape of my own. My fundamental desire is to create spaces for people to feel seen, safe, and comfortable. I'm out here chasing my dreams and designing the life I imagine. I hope in time we can get to know each other more!

Exist in every space as if you're meant to be there.
